New issue 81 by SimonS...@gmail.com: Just picking black on Ubuntu 12.04
(Unity)
http://code.google.com/p/gpick/issues/detail?id=81

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Ubuntu 12.04 on a virtual-machine (VirtualBox) and start with
Unity as UI
2. Install gpick and start it
3. Try to pick whatever pixel on your screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Pick the color I have on the screen .... instead of black

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gpick: 0.2.4
ubuntu: 12.04
virtual-box: 4.1.16

I have installed Ubuntu on a virtual machine ... may it be that the
display-driver of VirtualBox doesn't work here?

I doubt this is a "gpick" issue. I can duplicate this in "gcolor2" too.
