New issue 106 by alexande...@gmail.com: gpick.exe is not a win32 application
http://code.google.com/p/gpick/issues/detail?id=106

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install gpick_0.2.5.msi in Windows XP SP3 32 bit version.
2. Run it.
3. Get the error.

There is another GTK in the system installed by Gimp 2.8.

i have the same problem
the same operating system, the same program version and the system error
appears when i try to run the program.

no problem during the installation it terminates without errors.
the SHA1 is checked and is 100% ok

all the other programs works perfectly like gimp, inkscape
i can confirm that my computer is 100% clean (no viruses, no rootkits, no
trojans...)

the question here:
what is the problem?

is it a virus infiltration during the compilation of the program?
if the windows binary is corrupted why you keep it in the server?

Looks like Visual Studio 2012 compiler creates executables that are not
compatible with older Windows versions, but there is a update which adds
command line option to target Windows XP systems. I recompiled with updated
compilers and that command line option enabled, but I do not have access to
Windows XP system to test if it is enough to fix this issue.

Could you test the attached installer?
