The grant is to work in the High Performance Computing (HPC) field. In particular, on
the resolution of Numerical Linear Algebra (NLA) problems using heterogeneous
hardware platforms (GPUs, FPGAs, ARM, DSP, multi-core CPUs). The offered position
is in the context of a project with the CSC group of the Max Planck Institute for

Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Magdeburg, Germany (https://www.mpi-
magdeburg.mpg.de/csc), with focus in the development of efficient NLA kernels,

leveraging heterogeneous hardware platforms, and considering different performance
aspects, such as resource utilization, runtime and energy consumption.

Salary $U 66250 (Uruguayan pesos, aprox. U$S 1550)

grant includes one air ticket in economic class of up to U$S 4000.
