Migrating to GPerfTool 2.10

Hi,

We are planning to migrate from gperftools 2.6.3 to 2.10

Is there any information to assess the benefits. What are main architectural differences in tcmalloc between these versions? Does 2.10 implements arenas? Other improvements?

Hi. We list all major changes in our NEWS file. As for arenas, not sure what you're referring to, but do note that we only target standard C and C++ APIs. Whoever needs extras (like protobuf arenas) can get them elsewhere.
