The San Jose team had a great gathering last night. Thanks to everyone
from the Leafstrand's group who helped with food, activities, children
and arrangements.
In case you've missed it, the big announcement is a specific date to
launch Preview Worship services. This is a dramatic shift, allowing us
to start a new chapter of preparation and gathering. On February 21
we'll begin our first evening worship service.
The Preview Worship idea allows us to invite people to a weekly
worship that is simple, yet gives a clear indication what our church's
worship and teaching is like.
The response is fantastic. We've heard stories of people outside our
group who are already thrilled about coming and wanting to bring
friends.
What can we do as a group?
1. PRAY. The key next step is to pray for a good worship facility. I
have a meeting tomorrow about a potential church in Campbell. Pray
that we can secure a facility in December.
2. CHRISTMAS OUTREACH. The next outreach is December 20. It'll be a
nice Christmas dinner; so bring friends and neighbors. More info on
that later.
3. ASK GOD TO SHOW YOU WHERE TO SERVE. The multi-site preparation
teams have essentially fulfilled their mission. Now we're gathering
new teams that will be ongoing for the new site. Prayerfully consider
where you'll fit when these teams start in January.
4. STAY ACTIVELY INVOLVED AT GRACE

4. STAY ACTIVELY INVOLVED AT GRACE. As a multi-site church, each location thrives as long as the whole church thrives. Please continue being as plugged-in and active at Grace as you can be while we prepare for the new site. This expansion is possible as long as our overall church stays spiritually healthy, thriving and active in Christ's mission.
Thanks for all of your prayers and efforts so far. I'm looking forward to the new year and a new worship service.
