Homeboy Industries Tour and Lunch
Thursday, March 25 12-2pm 130 W. Bruno St., LA
Background:
Homeboy Industries assists at-risk and formerly gang-involved youth to
become positive and contributing members of society through job
placement, training and education. Located in dowtown Los Angeles,
Homeboy is recognized as the largest gang intervention program in the
county, and has become a national model.
Join the GPAC Non-Profit committee as we learn about this
organizational model through a guided tour of the facility, and enjoy
lunch (while supporting the organization) at one of Homeboy's small
businesses, the Homegirl Cafe. If you're interested in participating,
please email Casey at coh...@usc.edu by Monday, March 22nd to sign up and for additional details.
