We need your pictures!
GPAC will be presenting a slide show of different GPAC events during this academic school year. Please submit your pictures to GPAC's Vice President, Rohini Thukral, at rohini...@gmail.com no later than 03/31/2010. This will allow us to have enough time to put the slide show together. Showcase your precious GPAC memories and your GPAC pride by submitting pictures!

A Million Meals For Haiti Event GPAC partners with The Salvation Army Friday, March 12th  at  12-4pm  (near Commerce, CA)

 Join the GPAC Non-Profit committee as we partner with The Salvation Army to be part of a volunteer movement to pack and ship 1 million meals in 24 hours to help curb hunger in Haiti on the two-month anniversary of the devastating earthquake.  If you're interested in participating, please email Grace at gp...@usc.edu by Tuesday, March 9th to sign up and for additional details about the event including carpool information, location, etc.

Join the social committee for a Saturday morning hike at Runyon Canyon in Hollywood! We will be meeting up at 10:30 AM at the Ralph's located on Sunset and Fuller and will be entering the park from the Fuller entrance. Make sure to wear some comfy shoes and bring water and a snack if you'd like.

GPAC and SHC are coming together to take over Koreatown. On this night, student organizational borders will disappear under the unifying forces of food and song. On this night, we will show the world how, despite the differences in our majors, when we join our superpowers of eating, drinking and singing, we take the party to epic levels. ON THIS NIGHT, KOREATOWN WILL BE OURS!...plus there's a budgeting intensive, and they'll deserve a night of mayhem.

RSVP IS NECESSARY. We will be making reservations, so please send a message to Brian, Amber or Pernell if you're in for one, the other, or both. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Homeboy Industries Tour and Lunch

Background: Homeboy Industries assists at-risk and formerly gang-involved youth to become positive and contributing members of society through job placement, training and education. Located in dowtown Los Angeles, Homeboy is recognized as the largest gang intervention program in the county, and has become a national model.

Join the GPAC Non-Profit committee as we learn about this organizational model through a guided tour of the facility, and enjoy lunch (while supporting the organization) at one of Homeboy's small businesses, the Homegirl Cafe.
