Dropdown Table of Contents

I would like to implement the dropdown TOC like the ones shown in the Example Books on the Gedcom Publisher Help pages. I don’t see anything about it on the help pages or on the Calibre site. Is there an option somewhere or does this have to be coded?

How a table of contents works is up to the e-reader software. The latest version of calibre embeds the ToC in a panel in the main window, at least that’s what I see.

 

I don’t think there’s any way to influence how the ToC works.

Ecaliber viewer has a couple of options for TOC. You can split it from the book and display as a separate window, or move it as a top part of the window as well as the side. It also can add chapter and book title etc to the header or footer via view settings header and footer to help let you know where you are.
