I want to start over in Gedcom Publisher. I have some old files that I want to delete, but I can’t find anything in Help about deleting files. I see there are gpfiles and -c and -1 files. How do I clean this up?

Virginia,

  1. Every GP project will have a “.gpfile”. This is the settings file where GP keeps track of all the chapters, you define, etc.
  2. Every GP project will have a “-i" folder. That folder will be in the same parent folder as the “.gpfile”.
  3. If the “Optimize Images” checkbox in the Date -> Exhibits section is checked, GP will make a “-c” folder in the same parent folder as the “.gpfile”.

If you do not want the “.gpfile” any more, you should delete all three of the above files/folders.
