EPUBReader extension to Firefox

When compiling and checking changes to my large ebook, I have found
calibre frustrating as it is slow to load the book. Bluefire loads the
book quickly, but there are some issues with text formatting.

I have now started using EPUBReader, an extension to Firefox. This loads
a book instantly and the formatting is pretty good, the only issues I've
spotted so far being that it doesn't recognise page breaks between
person pages and it doesn't render source notes in a smaller size font.

The author of the extension acknowledges an issue where links from the
Table of Contents do not work consistently in horizontal style. However,
they do work perfectly well in vertical style.

Chris,

Perhaps you should provide a link to the EPUBReader in the Mozilla Add-ons store. There were several add-ons with similar names. When you mentioned this extension to me last week, I wasn’t sure I found the one you meant.

Also, is there a version of EPUBReader for Chrome/Edge?

I hadn't noticed that there were several. I only use Firefox, so don't know about other browsers.
