Personally, I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the
presentations. I wanted to see less sales pitch and more "here's a
contextual look at what we could actually do for government agencies
and how it's relevant to their work". I think my comments in the room
and on Twitter reflected that.
That said, I know I need to remember that I have rather more
experience at this than some and that my expectations and desire for
depth may be well diverged from the rest of the audience.
There was some great content, but I did want more depth and context
versus sales pitch. And I was disappointed at the lack of anyone
noting that quant data is only so useful. It's when you combine it
with qual that you get real insight.
