Army requires a contract to Replace HVAC Systems, Family Housing Areas 19
and 20, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work includes the removal of existing
HVAC equipment, including removal and disposal of thermostats containing
mercury. Demolition includes removal of E-Tech heat recovery units and
associated piping. Installation includes new split system heat pump
indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, control wiring, thermostats
and associated electrical work, and repairs to the existing return air
plenums. Performance time is 180 calendar days. The magnitude of this
project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and is under SIC 1711.
This project is unrestricted. All responsible bidders may submit a bid.
There is a $30.00 non-refundable charge for the solicitation package. All
requests for the solicitation package shall be made in writing to the
above address. When requesting the package, clearly indicate the
solicitation number and a breif description or title of the project.
Payment will be made to the U.S. Treasurery by company check, cashier's
