Organization(DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement
Branch(DTS41) intends to issue a sole source contract to Diversified
Software Systems, Inc., 18635 Sutter Blvd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037, for the
acquisition of software maintenance for the following proprietary
products: JOB/SCAN and DOCU/TEXT. This software product is currently
installed on equipment located at the DMCs in Denver, CO; Mechanicsburg,
PA; and Chambersburg, PA. Period of performance for the maintenance is
1 Oct 98 through 30 Ssep 99. The statutory authority for other than full
and ioeb competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source
and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must
indicate their interest within one day of this announcement. Any party
interested in receiving the pricing request shall provide written notice
to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are
acceptable. No contract award will be maade on the basis of
quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this
synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. All
responses to the pricing request from responsible sources will be
considered for evaluating the award of the contract. The resultant
contract will be firm, fixed price. Oral communications are not
