cbr...@bop.gov (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation document
is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 230-0036. (III) This
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. (IV) This
solicitation is 100% SBSA. The SIC is 3441 with a size standard of 500
employees and the NAICS United States is 332312. (V) Contract Line Item
Number (CLIN) 0001: Contractor to manufacture and deliver seven (7) wide
flange steel I-beam trusses for 48 foot span, 4-12 pitch roof, to fit
building as per attached drawings. Trusses to be installed by Government.
If braces are required, identify brace location and size (braces will
besupplied by Government). Offeror must request a copy of the drawings
and respond/comply to all requirements in order to be considered
responsive. However, only a limited number of copies of drawings are
available, on a first come first serve basis. Requests for drawings must
be submitted to Christina Berggren (Brown) via fax at (503) 843-7623 or
email to cbr...@bop.gov or in writing to the address listed above.
Telephone requests will not be accepted. (VI) The successful offeror
shall complete delivery of all items with 60 days of date of award. (VII)
Delivery hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., local time, Monday through
Friday, excluding Government holidays. Delivery location: Federal
Correctional Institution, Food Service Warehouse Expansion Site, 27072
Ballston Road, Sheridan, Oregon 97378. (VIII) FAR provision 52.212-1,
"Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items," is hereby incorporated by
reference. The following is incorporated as addenda to FAR Clause
52.212-1: Evaluation Factors for Award: Offerors are advised that the
Government intents to evaluate offers and award a contract without
discussions with offerors. Award will be made to the responsible offeror
whose quote is responsive to the items of the RFQ and is the best value
to the Government in terms of trade-off between price and technical
merit. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the
offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the
Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined
by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any
or all offers if such action is in the public interest; accept other than
the lowest offer; and waive informalities and minor irregularities in
offers received. (IX) FAR provision 52.212-3, "Offerors Representations
and Certifications -- Commercial Items," shall be completed and submitted
with the offer. (X) FAR clause 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions
-- Commercial Items," is hereby incorporated by reference. The following
FAR Clause is hereby incorporated by reference, pursuant to FAR Clause
52.252-2, "Clauses Incorporated by Reference": 52.219-6, Notice of Small
Business Set-Aside. (XI) FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders --
Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. In accordance with
FAR clause 52.212-5, the following clauses are hereby incorporated by
