tools and labor to complete the following repairs to the sewage pump lift
station Channel Islands Air Guard Station, 113 Mulcahey Drive, Building
113, Port Hueneme, CA 93041. Contractor will (1) Replace two sewage
station pumps and motors, provide stainless steel guides, rail
assemblies, lifting cables and other hardware necessary to complete the
installation. Pumps must be explosion proof and submersible, rated at 650
GPM @ 120 TDH or equal. (2) Provide conduit, wire, relay logic, lights
and name tages for motor thermo protectors and outer seal logic inside
the existing control cabinet. (3) Povide new concrete wet well lid and
access cover. Include a 300M bitumastic two part coating to the interior
of both. (4) Provide and install a new 200 AMP main circut breaker in
the existing 400 AMP service entrance. Include new wire and conduit to
the control panel. (5) Provide intrinsically safe relay logic for the
float switches inside the control panel to ensure compliance with all
OSHA city, county, state and federal safety regulations. The 146 Civil
Engineer will host a "Mandatory" site visit, 19 December 1997 at 9:00 AM
Pacific time. This will be the only site visit for this request for
proposals. Bidders must attend to qualify. Please FAX your request to
attend by 18 December 1997, 4:30 PM.Bid packages will be handed out at
the site visit. The estimated cost range for this project is between
$25,000 and $100,000. Closing date will be january 7 1998, 2:00 PM
