anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) Type Contract. This is a Commercial Item for Denier/Nylon
Fabric with Blended Neoprene/Butyl Rubber Coating Width: 50" Color: Navy,
to make Mattress Covers. Max. Qty: 80,000 Yards, With a Guaranteed
Minimum of 2,000 yards. One Line Item. Period of Performance is one
year,with one option year if exercised. Delivery is required 30 days
after receipt of delivery order upon award of contract. A Bid Sample is
required for this requirement in order to inspect product quality and
conformance with specifications. The Bidder must submit Technical Data
Sheet with sample. Sent Sample To: Attn. of D. Willis, Factory Manager,
Unicor/Federal Prisons Industries, 601 McDonough Blvd., SE, Atlanta, GA
30315. Delivery is FOB Destination to: Unicor Atlanta, Ga. Additional

1PI-R-1493-00, is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures
(SAP), this solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect
through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-07. Only responsible sources may
submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The evaluation
for this requirement will be based on Past Performance, Best Value and
Specification Quality, not price alone. Past Performance will be valued
at 50%, Price and Specifications 25% each. Copies of the solicitation are
