Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Commercial Item Request for
Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 12.203 for bread products for the
following Department of Veterans Affairs facilities within the Veterans
Integrated Service Network (VISN 21): VA Medical Center, San Francisco
CA and VA Palo Alto Health Care System, with divisions at Menlo Park and
Livermore. Contract period is date of award through August 31, 2001.
Contract award is subject to availability of funds. The following
provisions and clauses apply plus any addenda: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions
to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items;
52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items;
52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; and 52.212-5
Contract terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders
Commercial Items. SIC Code is 2051. FSC is 8920. Electronic solicitation
copies will be available at no cost from the URL shown below on or about
July 18, 2000. Amendments will also be posted on the web page. Requests
for hard copy solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will
be accepted. No E-mail requests will be accepted. No web-based offers
