firm-fixed price contract for the overhaul, repair, calibration and
functional testing of the pressure indicator for the E003B/C. NSN:
6685-01-038-7269; P/N: 50233-28; QTY: 6; UOI: each; Gov't Required
Delivery Schedule: 30 days after contractor receipt of reparable.
Contract reporting/data is not required. GFM,GFE,GFP not available.
Essential repair and test will be in accordance with T.O. 5P3-4-97-3.
Solicitation will be sent out on or about 23NOV99 with quotes due 21 days
thereafter. To be eligible for award, offerors must be approved sources.
Source approval pkgs will be attached to the solicitation. The
Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending
Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offreors are encouraged to
submit them ASAP. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR
when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source
will be reviewed for possible approval for future awards. All potential
offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for
additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning
this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting
officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors
or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an
acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program
director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns,
issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict
confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection
