(650) 615-7282 The Postal Service has re-opened the process for
prequalifying electric service providers. Two changes made to the
original requirement are the submission of only one executed service
agreement from one of the three primary Investor Owned Utilities (Pacific
Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, or San Diego Gas & Electric)
and the option of allowing the supplier to submit the required financial
statements from its parent company in place of their own financial
statements. Companies submitting documentation in response to the
original solicitation are not required to resubmit information. Companies
not previously responding but wish to participate should mail a
nonrefundable $25 check or money order made payable to the USPS
Disbursing Officer along with their written request for a copy of the
solicitation (see Item 7 for address). Only those companies determined
prequalified will be eligible to participate in the Request for Proposals
