Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) is seeking sources to provide personal
services of one (1) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Biostatistician and one
(1) FTE Epidemiologist to work with the Repatriated Prisoner of War
Program at the Naval Operational Medicine Institute (NOMI), Pensacola,
FL. The Biostatistician must possess a Masters Degree in Biostatistics,
be eligible for U.S. employment, and represent an acceptable malpractice
risk to the Navy. The Epidemiologist must possess a Ph.D. in
epidemiology, biometry, or biostatistics OR possess current licensure to
practice medicine in the U.S. and completion of a Fellowship in
epidemiology, biometry, or biostatistics, be eligible for U.S.
employment, and represent an acceptable malpractice risk to the Navy. The
requirement is not presently restricted to small business concerns.
However, the Government reserves the right to place a restriction on the
requirement should responses received in conjunction with this
announcement prove that a small business can provide the required
personnel. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 8099. The
small business size standard is $5.0 million. Interested parties should
forward documentation that establishes successful past performance in the
provision of the required labor categories by COB 4/25/00 to the Naval
Medical Logistics Command, ATTN: Code 022 (Mrs. Donna Blackstone), 521
