Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Service, Management
Services Center, Auburn, WA, has released a final Request for Proposal
for the acquisition of Logistics services under its Multiple Award
Schedule program. (A draft version of the solicitation was originally
issued for comments in December 1999.) This standing solicitation will be
an unrestricted, full and open competition. SIC 8744. The types of
commercial services covered under this solicitation will include: (1)
Supply and Value Chain Management; (2) Acquisition Logistics, (3)
Distribution and Transportation Logistics; (4) Deployment Logistics; and
(5) Logistics Training services. Contractors will provide services to
Federal ordering agencies as specified in task orders issued under this
Schedule. Domestic and/or overseas work performance will be required. A
solicitation for Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) is available on the
