currently being leased. Proprietary software program distributed only by
Data System Research. ea. Applicable to: Tasams. Destn: Hill Air Force
Base, Ut 84056-5000. Delivery: 01 Oct 97 The approximate issue/response
date will be 28 Aug 97. The anticipated award date will be 15 Sep 97.
Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Data Systems
Research, Arlington VA 22209. No telephone requests. Only written or
faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All
responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation
which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or
others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the
described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Request for
copies of solicitations must reference the entire solicitation number,
including purchasing office identification number. To expedite your
request, limit the number of individual solicitation numbers requested
per letter to not more than 10. Don't request information on this
requirement until after the issue date. An Ombudsman has been appointed
to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal
development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is
not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting
officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements,
and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When

synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for
Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions
and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
90-46. This is a sole source requirement IAW Far 6.302-1. This RFQ has
the following line item: Software, Chameleon UnixLink V7.0 with
maintenance and upgrades, quantity 390 each. Delivery required NLT 26 Sep
97 to NAIC/SCST. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-1,
52.212-3 shall be included with any offer, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. WPAFB
intends to award to NetManage, 98 Spit Brook Road, Suite 300, Nashua, NH
03062. The approximate issue/response date will be 08 Aug 97. The
