for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR
subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in
this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. Refer to solicitation as RFQ N00140-98-Q-3335. The solicitation
document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect
through the Federal Acquisition Regulation dated 24 June 1997. The Fleet
and Industrial Supply Center, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire
on a full and open competitive basis the following items: Executive Metal
Desk/Double Pedestal, quantity of 336, meeting the following
specifications: dimensions- 30"D X 60"W X 29"H; color- black; desk top-
between 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" thick, consisting of scratch and stain
resistant Formica or high pressure/thermal-fused laminate in wood tone;
all-steel lockable pedestal; all-steel drawers; 3 letter drawers on left
pedestal with adjustable dividers/separators and pencil tray; 1 letter
drawer with adjustable dividers and 1 full suspension file drawer on
right pedestal; chrome-plated legs and handles with adjustable steel
glides. Executive Metal Desk/Single Pedestal, quantity of 168, meeting
the following specifications: dimensions- 24"D X 40"W X 29"H; color-
black; desk top- between 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" thick, consisting of scratch
and stain resistant Formica or high pressure/thermal-fused laminate in
wood tone; all-steel lockable pedestal; all-steel drawers; 1 letter
drawer with adjustable dividers and 1 full suspension file drawer on
right pedestal; chrome-plated legs and handles with adjustable steel
glides. Delivery to Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL is required
no earlier than 11 Jan 99 and no later than 29 Jan 99. FAR 52.212-1 is
applicable. Note: offeror's attention is specifically directed to
paragraph (b) (11) of this clause. A statement complying with this
paragraph must be included in the quotation. FAR 52.212-4 is applicable.
FAR 52.212-5 is applicable, along with the following additional FAR
clauses cited in the clause:52.203-6, 52.203-10, 52.219-8, 52.222-35,
52.222-36 and 52.222-37. DFARS 252.212-7001 is applicable, along with the
following additional DFARS clause cited: 252.225-7012, and 252.225-7036.
All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quotation in response
to the solicitation which will be considered by the Fleet and Industrial
Supply Center by no later than 09/28/98 at 4:00 pm local Philadelphia
time. Faxed responses are acceptable. FAR 52.215-5 is applicable. Fax
