CBD NOTICE NOTICE TO ALL DISC VENDORS MIL-I-45208,

Inspection System Requirements, has been canceled and consequently has
been removed from the DoD Index of Specifications and Standards.
Effective April 8, 1998, most items which had previously called for
MIL-I-45208 will now be governed by QAP-EQ006 which is being issued for
Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) items only. It allows for the use
of commercial inspection systems that meet minimum requirements as
specified in the QAP. Current awards that specify MIL-I-45208 can run to
completion without being modified. QAP-EQ006 is available on the Product
Services page of the DISC webpage (http://www.disc.dla.mil).
