WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA OSHIVAMBO/AFRIKAANS/ENGLISH PROJECT OFFICE
This requirement is being issued by GovWorks under the franchise
authority of the Department of the Interior (DOI) on behalf of the
African Development Foundation (ADF). GovWorks/DOI intends to issue a
twelve- (12) month contract for ADF on a sole source basis to Mr. Gilbert
Boois. The requirement is for a Financial Officer with primary
responsibility for all aspects of financial management, both for internal
office management and for external project activities. Mr. Boois will
serve as Acting Resident Technical Assistance Coordinator (RTAC), with
primary responsibility for all aspects of administrative management of
the operations in Windhoek and providing guidance to all staff. He will
assist in screening applications for grants by assessing applicants'
eligibility for funding under the country strategic plan and selection
criteria and make site visits to applicants and make recommendations for
funding. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: December 1, 2001 to November 30, 2002.
No solicitation document exists for this requirement. In order to perform
this requirement a company/individual must work and live in Windhoek,
Namibia and be familiar with the culture of Namibia. The contractor and
all subcontractors must speak the following languages fluently: English,
Afrikaans, and Oshivambo. This contract does not include any funds for
transportation to the Namibia Office worksite in Windhoek, Namibia. All
