We are delighted to invite you to this special programme dedicated to
Govardhan Hill – the most sacred mountain. This greatly loved festive
occasion enables us to hear about Krishna's pastime of lifting
Govardhana Hill to protect His devotees. This extraordinary hill,
which is a few miles from Krishna's birthplace - Vrindavan (India), is
the destination of several million of pilgrims from all around the
world. During the month of Kartik their pilgrimage includes Govardhana
Parikrama (the 14 mile circumambulation of the hill). Month of Kartik
(this year from 12th October - 10th November) is the most spiritual
month of the year, when the benefits from performing spiritual
activities are multiplied by thousand. Please take advantage of this
opportunity. The programme will include the dramatic narration of the
pastime.
Admission is FREE, donations are welcome. There will also be
uplifting music, dance and delicious vegetarian & vegan food.
