Dear Friends,

Hare krishna. It is our great pleasure to invite you to the
celebration of Sri Balarama Purnima Festival @ ISKCON Manchester
temple on Tuesday, 24th August. Lord Balarama is the adi-guru, the
original spiritual master. In Caitanya Lila, Lord Balarama appears as
Lord Nityananda, the bestower of mercy to even the most fallen
conditioned souls. Therefore His appearance as the son of Rohini and
Vasudeva is celebrated with great jubilation. The programme will be as
follows:

4.30am Mangal Arati
5.00am Tulsi Arati
5.15 - 7.00am Japa
7.00am Deity Greeting and Guru Puja followed by Kirtan
7.45 Srimad-Bhagavatam Class "The Appearance of Lord Balarama"

Service opportunities during the day.
Fasting until noon.

1pm Lord Balarama Appearance Day Feast
7pm Arati
7.30pm Class on Lord Balarama's appearance, pastimes and importance.
8.30pm Special Lord Balarama's Feast.

Devotees are welcome to stay in the Manchester Temple Monday and
Tuesday nights by arrangement with Gaura Krsna das @ 07595381981
