GOTS & EBSCO EDS

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to get the EBSCO EDS page to appear in the right frame of GOTS? 

My EBSCO Academic Search Premier tutorial works, but I can't get my EDS page to appear in the right frame. I just get a white screen.

Hello

This is a frame busting issue, and it depends on the security protocols of the web site.  We do not currently have a fix, but do have a go around. You can use the pop-up mode which will open the GOTS in a separate window.

Hi,

To get around this we used the link to the search box without a session ID, ask whoever does admin for your EDS. Here is what we did

http://gots.uow.edu.au/gots/tutorial/library-search-tutorial

See page 4 for how we describe it, we used this as a link to open in the right frame

http://ezproxy.uow.edu.au/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&profile=eds

(It is not ideal but far better than pop up mode)
