Dear All,

Shock of the week, Contador found with minute traces of a banned substance, oh dear was it contaminated meat?? Time will tell but based on previous cases I suspect he was taking something, what a pity.

The world championships is taking place in Melbourne with a win for Emma Pooley of GB, Taylor Phinney ,USA, son of the great Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter, and Cancellara (Switz) in the time trials. The road races are on Saturday and Sunday, women’s tomorrow and men’s Sunday.

I have been taking anti biotics for a week so am not sure if they are banned substances or not?? No urine samples on Sunday please!!
