World's Oldest Active Hasher

With the passing of Bill “HANOI BILL” Newling, after a long and wonderful life, at the age of 95 (born on 4 May 1929), a new Oldest ACTIVE hasher has been identified.  

 

First a shout out to Douglas 'LORD JUNIOR' Jones, who up until just about a month ago, was running with Gladstone H3.  He was born on 6 Feb 1931, but due to health concerns can longer drive, and has mostly retired from hashing, but may turn up for special events.  Best wishes mate.

 

So the honor now goes to Chesney ‘EL PICADOR’ Allen as the world’s oldest ACTIVE hasher.  He was born on 30 May 1932, and that makes him 92 ½ years old.  He hashes every week with the Wessex H3 and stays with the main pack by walking fast, and using sticks.  Blessings to El Picador for many more years of hashing fun.

 

The world’s oldest ACTIVE harriette continues to be Rajendar ‘GLAMOUR’ Kaur who was born on 9 May 1933, she is now 91 and hashing with the Brunei Hens.
