A new hash club
<https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/sheffield-joins-worldwide-hash-house-harrier
s-movement-for-the-first-time-this-weekend-5071944> is born . . . welcome
to the Steel City H3 in Sheffield, UK. See the details at

As I reported on a couple months ago . . .

For those of you planning on attending UK Nash Hash, or travel to the UK
for any reason . . . the new UK ETA process is available. They push you to
the phone app, so all the details are here . . .
https://apply-for-an-eta.homeoffice.gov.uk/apply/electronic-travel-authorisa
tion/easier-on-the-app

I recently completed the process, and there were a couple hiccups, but in
all it only took about 10-15 minutes including downloading the app. You
will need to have your passport handy to scan a photo of your data page,
then it wants to scan your passport for the chip. That did not work, so
after 5 attempts I skipped it, and entered the info manually, which was not
that hard. Cost was 10 GBP, about $13.50 US. Approval took less than ONE
minute. The ETA is good for 2 years.

The EU version ETIAS 'visa' requirement has been postponed once again,
until late 2026

--------------------------------------

Thought for the day . . . When you ask me what I am doing today, and I say
"nothing," it does not mean I am free. It means I am doing nothing.
