Many warm greetings from the East Coast... comin to ya live from "down
tha shore" in good ol' NJ, where i done been born and raised!

i was thrilled to find a link to http://www.carbonfund.org/
They have a nice little Carbon footprint calculator and lots of great
information. They make big claims about their impact! Apparently every
$99 "eliminates 18 tons of carbon dioxide"...
Me for example: my footprint is pretty big with all these air miles
(thank god i don't have a car as well - it would be embarrasing in
that case)... next year - around the world in a sail boat ?!?
Those of us who care about our environment may want to consider
putting things in as honest a perspective as possible (taking a
critical look at the hidden "costs" in our decisions... eg. food
miles, gasoline sources, etc.) and putting our money where our mouths
are...
And speaking of mouths... any ideas how we are gonna feed all these:

a quick note about this message and email list/group ::
In an effort to reach out to as many of the beautiful souls i have
been blessed to cross paths with (virtually and physically alike), i
have created a simple little email list over at good ol' google...
This group currently has 88 members and 60 open invitations... I have
also included many others in this distrubution, both because i think
it includes some important stuff to ponder and because i would like
you all to consider joining the google group :

as much as i dislike the idea of suggesting it (please don't leave me
alone out here in the world with noone listening to my flapping lips
or clicking fingers) anyone who considers these messages a nuisance
and would like to be removed, is of course free to unsubscribe.
and lastly (about the list) : this group is "announcement only"...
that doesn't mean i don't value what you have to say, nor do i think
that you "should'nt" reply to the whole group. However, sometimes
email lists automatically "reply to all" and i don't like that because
sometimes it leads to unintentional distribution of personal
communications... SO : if you want to post replies to gotjosh_everyone
please let me know and i will be happy to add you as a moderator of
the group! ... if you want to reply in person just to me, GREAT -
thats a big part of the reason why i write to many at once, as a
prompt for more personal communication!
having much to say about life and love and many things representing
home and comfort and convienience and soft fuzzy cuddliness... leaving
them for the wind in the name of brevity (this message is getting too
long for today)
