Advanced Directions API example not working for Public Transport

Hi, I'm referring to the sample code on this link
http://gothere.sg/api/maps/examples/directions-advanced.html

Seems that Taxi and Car mode gets you the direction but not Public Transport mode. Can I get some help with this? Is the G_TRAVEL_MODE_TRANSIT option no longer supported? Thanks in advance.
