LUCKY BREAK with Phil Hartnoll & Myagi

Only a couple of weeks after playing the Glastonbury Festival in the UK with his new band Long Range, Phil Hartnoll will be returning to Melbourne to play a live dj set at the Lucky Break party at Miss Libertine on 7 July 2007. 

Phil Hartnoll was one half of Orbital, who were, for almost two decades, one of the most creative and influential electronic acts on the planet, recording their seventh and last studio album in 2004.  Not content to rest on the laurels of past glory, Phil Hartnoll's new project is Long Range, formed in conjunction with musician Nick Smith.

But wait there's more: playing live is Myagi (Andrew Mavor) from Canada who has, in the last year, played the vast majority of the world and has become known as one of the new major North American electronic music producers.  Myagi's live sets have been described as innovative, relentlessly funky and ludicrously fun, and have led to a devoted fan base in all corners of the globe.
