I choose to avoid indoor hypothermia by moving my booty on, or near, a rockin dance floor... join the winter freeze revolution at these lovely Melbourne gigs if you know what's good for you ;)

This Saturday 11 July: GOOD TIMES (Lounge downstairs) from 10pm-1.30am, followed by the very funky Eric OB1... you come; you drink and talk trash; dance and have fun.  Your soundtrack for the evening includes a good-time selection of best-of's, 80s electro favourites, mash ups that raise an eyebrow, and the songs my mother gave me.

THE WEDNESDAY SESSIONS start this Wednesday 8th July at Sixteen Ellis Street in South Yarra, and runs weekly until 29th July.

It will be a comfortable and classy - yet unpretentious - atmosphere, perfect for a midweek drink and this jazz/funk/soul/blues style.  Basic food platters will be available. The venue is renowned for its superb selection of international/speciality wines and spirits – a beautiful space with Baroque styling and Arabesque opulence.  The band is top quality –jazz, soul and blues, Latin and improvised instrumentals with amazing guests on drums, guitars and vocals.

THE WEDNESDAY SESSIONS - new event starts 8 July!!
LIVE jazz/Latin/soul/world music in South Yarra

Starting Wednesday 8 July, the beautiful Sixteen Ellis Street function venue opens its doors for THE WEDNESDAY SESSIONS.

THE IMPROMPTU ENSEMBLE sets the stage with a night of LIVE jazz, soul, Latin and world music, improvised instrumentals and smooth vocal sounds.
Opening night with Alexander Nettelbeck (Keys), Khari Cabral (Bass) and Ben Karsay (Drums).

Continuing weekly until 29 July, the house band is joined by special guest musicians...more announced soon!
