Yes it’s been too long since updates... but the summer season brought many of you to dance floors au natural, so you’ve already had the pleasantries & air kisses for welcoming 2008 (too late, they already have Easter eggs on sale at Coles pffff!).
2007 was a hectic year of laying out our funk-breaks manifesto with help from the best; from Fort Knox Five & Thunderball thru to our local hero Rephrase (much love for everyone who came & partied religiously!). The Christmas season brought the DJs & crew fuzzy, crazy gigs … great shows & inspiring moments with likeminded people. It won’t be long before we’re rolling out our major events for 2008 with a perfect mix of guest acts & new ideas for local funky breaks music. Hold tight, this year Got Funk? tries for more little victories & heart & soul!!
