As the women headed off, three men couldn't help but wonder what else
the two girls had in mind, what with the winking going on and all.
Then a rather more serious mood set upon them. They had a job to do...
"So how we gonna get in to see this dude... cos I'm thinking we need
to call him and tell him we got a big campaign contribution we wanna
discuss !" said Bailey. He looked over at Callum - "You from Inglund
sucka, does that work here ?"

Callum sighed with the resignation of one who has heard it all before

"Awa tae fuck with yer man, yer talkin pish, Scotland hasne been part of the United Kingdom since the referendum in 2014 . And your plan isnnae going to work. You cannae buy politicians here. There are rules aboot that sort of thing."

Bailey put on a sarcastic mock scottish accent : " i dunnae wanted ta buy the man . I just wanted tae make an offer tae get a meeting!" reverting to his usual drawl.
"I may have another idea fool. Think we can get some press cards faked ? We got money."

"Since all the scandals about money for votes there are very strict rules about how you can buy off politicans these days." Callum replied.  "The press stuff seems as good a method as any other. Gotta be worth a go."

Lyall watched the girls walking ahead, and the guys beside him chatting away about Press Cards, everything seemed to move so quickly, it was quite overwhelming. He shrugged it off, and tried to grin at the right moments, and copy the emotions of Callum, in the hope of passing as being tired. "How long is this walk anyway?"

"Just up to the street sucka" said Bailey, "then we hail a cab, we
need to find a copy-shop and make some fake identity documents."
Those supernaturals born before the last night of blood had a long
history of faking new official identities, it was all part of
remaining secret in a world of short-lived humans. The skill was
rather well known to most of them, while the younger lot have never
needed it. Lyal may well have been young enough during the last night
of blood to have never learned, but Bailey had spent 20 years as an
NYPD cop and a long time as a bodyguard to some of the most sensitive
people in New York... he did know how to fake a press card.
"You guys been here before ? Is it true the cabs here are ... black ?"

"Aye" Callum nodded, "Well some of them at least."

He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone and took pictures of the other two men.
"I think we can do better than a copy-shop for some decent IDs, don't you?" he typed in a mail address and forwarded the pictures.

OOC there must be some sort of Guardians fake document service in existance, is there any good reason why we don't use the resources of the local London office for stuff.

OOC: Because there is no such thing as the guardians anymore. They
disbanded after the last night of blood because they weren't needed
anymore. Normal police took over their duties. That's exactly why
Jethro had to call this group together to deal with this new threat-
because there is no longer an established global force ready to handle
such things, there hasn't been any need for one in 5 decades. There
were crimes, which police dealt with - but no organized campaigns or
battles that required the Guardians particular expertise. These people
now, will ultimately reform the guardians as a result of the threat
they are now facing, but right now, their starting from scratch.

Bailey nodded, "If you got an idea, by all means lead the way Callum.
You're the brainiac after all."
