The Bob Graham Center for Public Service was awarded a $3 Million
Knight Foundation Grant. A piece of this grant will be used to create
a Great Civil Debate Wall. Please join us on Thursday January 27th at
noon in 210 Pugh Hall for a chance to talk with Jake Barton, founder
and principal of Local Projects (http://localprojects.net) about the
students' role in the wall project. Jake is the developer and
designer of this wall, The 9-11 Memorial and has just been selected to
design the media installation for the new Eisenhower Monument with
Frank Gehry. Our mission is to build great civil debate walls
throughout the campus and community.
Lunch will also be provided.
Seating is limited, so please let us know if you will be able to
attend by e-mailing an RSVP to Susan Bragg at bsb...@ufl.edu by
