I. What is Gators of Tomorrow? Why are you here?
II. How organization will function this semester
a. General body meetings
b. GOT responsibilities
c. Volunteers to track minutes and participation
III. Reflection on last semester: What didn’t work and how to improve
IV. “What did you do over spring break?” w/ an alphabet twist
V. Information from your committee representatives
VI. Guest student speaker: Domonique Worship




GOT general body meetings
-Hand out meeting syllabus including upcoming events for the next
month
-Address from program director
-Directors from each committee have 5 minutes to announce, ask, take
votes, etc
- Student speaker: short discourse followed by Q &A or Leadership
building activity
-Highlight exceptional work of specific GOTers
*** Sign-ups will be sent out through the GOT network to save time






GOTer Responsibilities

Mandatory
• Attend all meetings: General body, committee, and director (if it
applies)
- One fundraising event/semester
• One Graham Center event/ semester
• Become a mentor for next generation


Optional (mandatory next year)
• Meet with GOT mentor each month
• Present a project for which you are a leader (past, current, or
future)
• Keep us updated as to which organizations you are leading
• Perform a “pillars of leadership” presentation


Pillars of GOT
I. Vision- Know what emboldens you and identify where you could make a
difference
II. Organization- Set goals, prepare your approach, and foresee
possible obstacles
III. Collaboration- Find others who can support you, share your ideas
IV. Communication- Express your purpose and convince others it is
important
V. Determination- Put in all necessary effort, overcome obstacles and
learn from them
