Ask Questions about the Oil Spill: On Monday Nov. 8 at 6:00 pm in
Pugh Hall 210 Sen. Bill Nelson and former Sen. Bob Graham will answer
audience questions via a live three-way videoconference following the
hearing of the National Commission on BP Horizon Oil Spill that day.
Four UF students who will be attending the hearings in DC will also
participate. The commission hearing will be streamed live on the
center's website at www.bobgrahamcenter.ufl.edu starting at 9:00 am
Monday. Experts are predicting a tense but informative hearing with
testimony from representatives of the companies involved in the
incident, industry executives, technical experts, regulators and
others re the actual rig explosion.
