GOTers,
As Thanksgiving approaches, I can't help but pause and reflect. When I
look back, I'm humbled by the thing I'm most thankful for. You.
You have worked so hard. You have developed a strategy, fundraised,
marketed, and collaborated on a vision, and more - donating your time,
talent, resources, and energy for student organizations. This year has
been all-hands-on-deck, and we have embraced changes both successful
and those not-so-much.
We have seen what the power of collaboration can do by inspiring
creativity; how the volunteering by 25 GOTers can improve community
projects; what specific conflicts and resolutions exist within an
organization such as GOT. I recognize that GOT will face numerous
upcoming challenges. The GOT leadership transition suffered from a
lack of commitment on multiple fronts, and for that I apologize. For
that reason and others I will be transitioning GOT leadership back to
Josh for the time.
As we look to the year ahead, I know that our work will be difficult.
But having seen how hard you have worked with your organizations and
with GOT in March, I know that together we are ready for the
challenges ahead. And then some.
So from all of us at GOT - and from my family to yours - I want to
wish you a very happy Thanksgiving.
All the best,
David
