Hello Guys,

I have GYB set  and running fine.

I want to purge an email based on the message ID so I used the following cmd -    gyb --email da...@snow.ancoristest.co.uk --action purge --search rfc822msgid:CALQLvynvoW6_Ox268PXgFptT...@mail.gmail.com

When I execute the command I get the following  error - 403: Insufficient Permission - insuffientpermission.

Any ideas on what I have done wrong?

Thanks

Purging emails requires the highest permission level. Run:

gyb --action revoke --email da...@snow.ancoristest.co.uk

in order to revoke the authorization and then re-run the purge command, this time making sure you choose Gmail full access.

BTW, if you're looking to purge emails for a Google Apps domain across users, GAM may be a better choice as it's aware of all the users in your domain (or even subsets of users based on your queries):
