403 when trying to restore to another account.

I backed up my G Suite account successfully  but when I try to restore to a regular Gmail account I get an 403 error.

The command line I used to backup was:

python3 gyb.py --email myname@mycorporatedomain --action backup


The command line I'm using to restore is:

python3 gyb.py --email myn...@gmail.com --action restore --local-folder GYB-GMail-Backup-myname@mycorporatedomain


After running this command a menu is presented and my choices are:

Select the actions you wish GYB to be able to perform for myn...@gmail.com


[ ]  0)  Gmail Backup And Restore - read/write mailbox access

[ ]  1)  Gmail Backup Only - read-only mailbox access

[*]  2)  Gmail Restore Only - write-only mailbox access and label management

[ ]  3)  Gmail Full Access - read/write mailbox access and message purge

[ ]  4)  No Gmail Access


[ ]  5)  Groups Restore - write to G Suite Groups Archive

[ ]  6)  Storage Quota - Drive app config scope used for --action quota


      7)  Continue


After entering 7 I get

And when I open the address https://gyb-shortn.jaylee.us/somelettersandnumbers  I get something similar to this:

My goal is to copy all emails from my corporate account to a personal account, including labels. Is it possible?

Trying to do this as well! If any one can help that would be amazing, having the same exact issue of trying to restore my work email account to a non-work email account.

This error is because the client_secrets.json file you originally created is locked down for use only by G Suite users in the same domain as the project creator. You can:

- rename the client_secrets.json and oauth2service.json  files and create a new project and the user you are restoring mail to OR

- Go to console.cloud.google.com > APIs and services > consent screen and make the project public. Authenticating users will see a warning screen they'll have to bypass and you'll be limited in how many users can authenticate unless you go through the verification process (not recommended).

I just got the same error, and I found this message (thanks!).

When I look at the code, I see that the client_secrets.json and oauth2service.json files are hard-coded to be in the same directory with gyb.py.  Would it be reasonable to change the code so that more than one client_secrets.json and oauth2service.json files could be used from the same gyb.py?

Looking at the code, it seems like it may be possible to set the environmental variable STATICX_PROG_PATH to the path I want to use, but it also looks like that could break other things.  Setting that environmental variable seems to work, but it also seems like a way that would not necessarily be supported long-term.

Is there a solution for backing up multiple clients from multiple domains with one installation?
