If you can pull the emails out of the legacy email mailbox as an mbox file then you can use that, otherwise you should look at Google's options for migrating mail:Jay

I plan to move my platform from a standalone email server into gsuite, and also convert one of our existing email accounts to a collaborative inbox/group.--
But I'd like to keep the history of all previous emails in that mailbox to be available to the group members. Would this work??
- starting point: custome...@mydomain.com on an external mail server
- move mydomain.com to gsuite
- open temporary email acct te...@mydomain.com in gsuite
- import/migrate old custome...@mydomain.com emails to te...@mydomain.com gsuite mailbox
- open custome...@mydomain.com as a new gsuite collaborative mailbox/group
- use GYB to move all messages from te...@mydomain.com to custome...@mydomain.com
- delete temporary email acct te...@mydomain.com in gsuite
I'd appreciate any help you can provide.
Cheers
