Google 'couldn’t verify it’s you'

Hello!

I'm stuck configuring GYB for the first time via Linux.  I get all the way to the "Select the actions you wish GYB to be able to perform for emaila...@website.com", input my selections and then the next verification link GYB provides won't authenticate with Google. 

I am currently logged in to the email account I am trying to backup in the same browser and can access it fine, but when I try to login through the GYB link in another tab at this step I am stuck at the "We couldn’t verify it’s you" prompt from Google.  No TFA or account recovery options are given.  I can't get past this step.

Appreciate any help from the community!
