Plugin Plans and Guidewire Products

Are there any plans to allow Gosu tester to execute against Guidewire
products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)?

This would be a great alternative for developers working on Guidewire
products. Giving folks the ability to write and test Gosu without
opening Studio.

I think the biggest problem would be having all of the Guidewire-specific types available for code completion and highlighting in the editor. Initializing those types probably consumes a majority of Studio startup time. You could, however, drop a copy of StudioService.wsdl (available in product version 7 or greater) into an open source Gosu class path and invoke the executeGosu() method to arbitrarily run code against the running server. This does require administrator authentication on the web service call however.
