Error while creating new project in IntelliJ IDEA14.1.4 - com.intellij.diagnostic.PluginException: USE_COMPILE_SERVER [Plugin: com.guidewire.gosu]

Hi,

I am getting an error while creating a new project for the first time after installation. I am new to IDEA. Please let me know if I need to change anything also attaching the log file.

                    Java JDK version and Path: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_51\bin

                    Gosu Version and path : C:\DATA\tutorial\Gosu\gosu-1.6.1\bin

                    Path and JAVA_HOME have been updated accordingly.

                    IntelliJ IDEA Version: 14.1.4

                    Gosu Intellij Plugin Version: 3.10.1

We only support Intellij 12 :(

Dear Luca,

Thanks for your quick help. I have now uninstalled IDEA14 and installed 12.1.7.

After installing 12.1.7, I have checked that Gosu SDK was not there in the Project Structure. Disabled Groovy and restarted. Downloaded and installed Gosu from repository. Then restarted it again. While it strats again it gives the following error:

Plugin com.guidewire.gosu failed to initialize and will be disabled: gw/plugin/ij/core/GosuAppComponent; Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 [Plugin: com.guidewire.gosu]   Please restart Intellij IDEA.

Is it not compatible with JDK I am using? Request your kind help please.

Dear Luca,

I thought that's what you suggested. I mentioned jre instead of jdk in the path variable. I am using JDK1.8. I couldn't yet  find what's the problem. Please let me know. This must be something silly mismatch.
