Nuisance in Flat D1-503

Dear Ganga Orchard D1 members. It has been observed that flat 503 has a group of bachelors who play loud music at odd hours - 11 pm to 2 am. Despite several warnings they have not stopped this nuisance. When I called up the owner of 503, he said he enquired around and no one else was disturbed due to the music. We at  Flat 603 is worst hit. However, I am surprised that no one else is disturbed due to the loud music being played. 

 

Last Friday when they played the loud music at 12 am, I checked in the common area, and it was resonating with loud music. I am just curious to know why others are not complaining and or if you guys have a solution for this nuisance. We have complained to PMC about the bastiwala in the front of D1/D2 building playing loud music, however, noone has come forward on this matter.

 

Also, it is noticed that on every Friday and Saturday, the bachelors invite a group of friends who drink, play loud music and talk loudly in cheap slang language. 

Before calling the police, I just would like to check how many of you are impacted by this nuisance and hence take an appropriate action.

Drinking and music is fine as long as they don't fight and use bad language and play it loud.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am also fine with drinking and music, but music at odd hours is the issue here - and I am not sure why or how others are not impacted? Is it just that since 603 is above 503 that we get to hear to the music more? The common area at 12 am was surely echoing with music.

We moved to D1-501 in 2009 and at that time we were also a group of bachelors. And to be honest we also used to have party at night
some times. Though we used to make sure that the music is as low as possible. On a couple of occasions people living in 401 mentioned
that there was a bit of noise.
No one else heard a thing from our flat ever.  So yes, maybe because 503 is directly below your flat, that's why.

Anyways, it is a society after all with residents of different age groups, so loud music at late night should not be allowed at all.

Now that I am not a bachelor anymore so I can realize :D

Wow!!! Loud music has caused so much unrest! I am wondering where you all were there when people were writing about the PMC occupied people in the opposite building! We have been fighting since last 3 years now and have not seen these names coming up!
