Please share if we can help anyway to get the security in place.
If the other group members are not aware, I would likge to share the tyre punture incident that happened about 3 weeks ago.
The menace of punture walas hit D1/D2 parking lot when someone, and most likely punturewallas illegally sitting near Ganga Orchard, puntured several cars parked in D1 and D2 parking. It happened in broad daylight about 3pm to 4 pm. The security gaurds did not notice anything. My wife and I, along with several other members launched a complaint to the Society office on this crime. We were promised of a police complaint. Till date there has been no update on this.
The problem of punturewalas coming in and damaging tyres needs to be taken seriously. The damage they do is to the side of the tubeless tyres. Even before this incident, I had been a victim of their cheats. The details of which I have posted on the internet too: http://www.carwale.com/Forums/ViewThread-20347.html
Please remember that a side damage means that the tyre needs to be replaced. The tyres are designed to be strong on the area of contact with ground and flexible in the sides. A punture in the side is the last thing that you would expect. You can check all tyre websites: http://www.bridgestone.co.in/tyre/tyreknowledge/tubeless/repair.asp
http://www.michelin.in/Home/Buying-Guide/When-to-change
All reccomend that side damage means change of tyre.
It is extremly dangerous to drive with a tyre with a side damage. Many incidents on highway tyre burst can be attributed to poor tyre mantainence.
