I bought a sound kit bundle that comes with a bunch of preset sounds, similar to what you would hear in horror or sci fi films, etc. that are part of kits. These kits come with separate files with the sounds named STEMS and MIDI. How exactly can I use the MIDI files in a way that they play from my MIDI controller in Reaper? I tried dragging/dropping the MIDI file straight into Reaper and it shows up like a normal MIDI would but there is no sound when playing and even though I have selected my MIDI controller, it is not playing the sound from it simply from connecting it through IN FX. On a similar note, how do you even play samples from your MIDI keyboard instead of connecting a VST or other plugin? Sorry, I'm pretty new still.
Breathe new life into the party with this fully produced tech house bundle. It has everything a world class tech house producer needs like deep hitting bass lines, nasty synth loops, groovy percussion & top loops, a huge amount of one-shots, over 68 serum presets, MIDI files to get inspired and on top of that 3 high quality construction kits!
Our MIDI packs are packages of midi files. These files contain note data in midi format, which is used on an audio editor software to send something playable to virtual instruments. Midi files themselves do not include anything audible sounds like drum samples, but the grooves and fills in terms of short midi clips. Midi notes are sent to the virtual instrument in a timely manner and the instruments produce an audible musical act.
Our midi packs work with General Midi Standard (GM Standard in short), which means, there is a lot of existing software and hardware which complies with it. In GM standard, there's a specific midi note map for drum instruments. You can find the official mapping here: -old/item/gm-level-1-sound-set -old/item/gm-level-1-sound-seton a table titled "General MIDI Level 1 Percussion Key Map".

The magic of SUPERTRAP is its incredible drum patterns. These are not your typical triplets hi-hats. They sweep across the entire scale, forming crazy and dizzying drum rolls that look like cryptic alien symbols! That's why SUPERTRAP is so difficult to produce. You first need exceptional knowledge and experience in making regular trap beats to even begin in SUPERTRAP. But with our comprehensive SUPERTRAP bundle, the gateway is now open!
"As is apparent, this bundle is nothing if not feature-packed. The more analytically-minded will find the amount of information on offer pretty incredible, and the ability to output MIDI and automation data is an excellent, forward-thinking feature that alone would be enough to sell this collection to some - the same goes for the Multi functionality."
"These analysis plug-ins [...] are available separately if you wish, but the bundle represents a significant saving and the tools on offer are simply amazing. There is just about nothing you can't find out about your digital audio using these analysers, many of which support advanced features [...]. For less adventurous, the plug-ins simply represent extremely acurate and flexible analysis tools."-Hollin Jones, Producer, Music Tech Magazine, July 2010.

I am trying to browserify the node-midi npm module from justinlatimer. I installed it via npm in my project directory, then ran browserify -r midi > bundle.js. I created a bare bones html file that includes the following:
